Milk and Dairy Products Technology Program at the University of Adnan Menderes Çine Vocational Higher School began academic system in 2005-2006. Programme educate technicians to dairy sector. Education period is 2 years (4 semester).
History
Milk and Dairy Products Technology Program at the University of Adnan Menderes Çine Vocational Higher School began academic system in 2005-2006. In 2006-2007 ıt was called as Dairy Products Technology (Evening Education) since few students prefer Milk and Dairy products (evening Education)in the academic year 2010-2011, evening education students transferred to the formal education.Transferred students from the department that is mentioned from this date is not enrolled. Milk and Dairy Products is still continuing education.
Mission
Attaining the required quality of companies operating in our country in the fields of milk and dairy products industry, compete wtih domestic and foreign markets, regularity to EU legislation, qualified personnel trained in these areas is possible. The program is performing application-oriented education to meet the need for qualified personnel to milk and milk products industry.The program is intended to follow the new Technologies,marketing the production of milk and milk products,control and supervision of trained staff equipped with contemporary knowledge and skills.
Vision
Having similar programs in the vocational school to be preferred a ‘’brand program’’.Following and using the professional developments,recognizing the relevant industry,training the qualified staff preferred by the ındustry.By providing the most productive way of practical training,making the students equipped in every respect.In the future,the students are employed to ensure to keep the communication alive with businesses.
Purpose
The Dairy products are mainly produced in our country is practically applied in the existing dairy plant done, laboratory analyzes of raw milk and its products, marketing, storage and to train qualified staff who has contemporary information and skills are the main purpose of the milk and milk products program.
Physical Infrastructure
Milk and milk production farm which is situated in The Vocational School, white cheese and making yogurt workshop and a laboratory that analysis of milk and its products are available.
Technical Infrastructure
Tools and equipments in milk and dairy products processing units, labrotory analysis equipments and various chemicals.
