Olive Cultivation and Olive Processing Technology was started to activity in 2006-2007 so that 40 students capacities. Intake of students was stopped in 2011-2012 but programm was started to education in 2012-2013 again. Finally, according to the regulation made by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), the number of students has been halted due to the decrease in the number of students.
To educate persons who adopted universal values, connected to Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions, respected to social values, self-confidence, researcher and questioned, have principle of life-long learning and awared of the responsibilities of the individual and social. Also programme aims to provide modern education conditions for students who have knowledge and skills required to international professional standards and analyzer, contact to owner and can bridge between enginner and employees.
Having similar programs in the vocational school to be preferred a ‘’brand program’’.Following and using the professional developments,recognizing the relevant industry,training the qualified staff preferred by the ındustry.By providing the most productive way of practical training,making the students equipped in every respect.In the future,the students are employed to ensure to keep the communication alive with businesses.
Program aims to educate technicians who have planning and studying of process for a period of planting the olive harvest to olive trees, and have skills and information of production, laboratory, marketing, preserving and management of olive and olive oil.
There is a fruit-vegetable and olive processing unit. 2 olive oil tanks, 1 filling machine, 1 filtration machine are exist. There are production of table olives, olive oil, filtration of olive oil and packing, olive oil soap production and various jam production. Olive collection garden is also exist in our school and students can apply harvest of olive, all types of olive tree maintenance, seedling and inoculation. There are microbological and chemical analysis also make.
