Marketing and Advertising department is a section training qualified personnel specialized to industry in this field by addressing all aspects of the sector. Under this section, the students are learning how to provide competitive advantage in changing market conditions, what factors can be necessary for industry to make a profit, international marketing strategies . Students are also provided not only marketing and advertising operations in this section, but also a general awareness of business . Marketing and Advertising Department provides training in two years after high school education. Marketing Program is available in the department as a subprogram
History
Marketing program, 2004-2005 academic year has started training under the Agricultural Marketing. Existing program within the Department of Marketing and Foreign Trade 2009-2010 academic year and the latest section of the 2010-2011 academic year under Marketing and Advertising Marketing Program continues under the name of teaching and training.
Mission
Marketing was founded on the basic principles of education by providing a current release, which can compete in a globalized market environment and the highest level has been reached, the consumer needs to know the organizational goals, identify and train students to meet.
Vision
Students, according to the needs of sectors, guiding the academic disciplines and professional dimensions of application with curriculum that gives priority to "education the job" as a professional career with the concept of intermediate elements to prepare and take an active role in educating the first time a program is to be preferred.
Purpose
Marketing and Advertising Department is a section training manpower, installing awareness of vocational their students, that makes them professionals sought in the market, that will help managers in forwarding and management of marketing unit in enterprises, that can carry out management in result of experience obtained, have the ability to open and run place of business on his own behalf. The purpose of the department ,is to train intermediate staff that will contribute most effectively in marketing and sales operation positions needed in marketing and advertising departments of public and private sector enterprises customer relations, taking into consideration customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction
Physical Infrastructure
Sultanhisar Vocational School was build totally 4315 m2 on Cevdet İnci, Şefik Çerçi and Ahmet Hakkı Balcıoğlu sites and 1260 m2 on greenhouse and 5000 m2 on practice lands and school plantation lands. This area contains 14 Classrooms, 2 Large classrooms, A Computer Laboratory, 3 Research and Practice Laboratories, A Sessions room, A Conference room, A Conference building (Conference room and Fuaye area), A Library building (with five internet connected computer areas and five thousand books and seventy person capacity library), 4 Practice greenhouses, A Practice area, 3 Practice workplaces, A Gym, A Meeting room, A Theatre area, A Sport area, A Cafeteria, A Guesthouse (Guest Lecturer and Teachers room), 13 Study rooms for Academic Personnel, 7 Study rooms for Personnel, A Students and Staffs food eating area, A Store and An Archive.
Technical Infrastructure
Knowledge and skills from Vocational School students will benefit the - Wide range application areas, - Virtual data bases, - Computer lab for communicate with the world of virtual business environments and business over the internet, - Library consisting of 5000 book is available.
