Objectives of the Course

General introduction of greenhouse structures, environmental control principles in greenhouses, heat flow and energy balance, determination of heat loss in greenhouses, heat consumption, ventilation and cooling systems, energy conservation and introduction of materials used, characteristics of heat curtains and application examples, use of alternative energy sources (solar) in greenhouses. , geothermal, industrial wastes, etc.), economic comparisons with conventional heating systems, low temperature heating systems and applications, automation applications in greenhouses.
