Objectives of the Course

To enable students to understand why soilless plant cultivation is needed, to comprehend the developments in soilless agriculture techniques, to understand the approaches to meet the water and nutrient requirements of plants in soilless agriculture, to plan and implement soilless plant cultivation in the commercial sense, to solve the problems they may encounter in soilless plant cultivation.

Course Content

The purpose and importance of soilless agriculture, the advantages and disadvantages of soilless agricultural practices, soilless farming techniques to give theoretical and practical information.
