Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to convey to students the development of information systems and technologies from past to present, to explain the operating systems of computers used in the modern age. To teach computer networks, computer security, data security, network systems, accounting programs and word processing programs.

Course Content

The Information Systems and Technologies course focuses on providing knowledge and skills on basic topics such as software, hardware, computer networks and the internet, as well as the use of basic office applications such as word processors, calculation programs, presentation programs and databases. This course also addresses current issues such as safe internet use, viruses and ethics.
