Objectives of the Course

This course aims to provide students with the basic mathematical background they will need in the context of information technologies and corporate applications. Number systems, logical thinking, modular structure, functional modeling and geometric concepts that support analytical thinking are the main topics of the course.

Course Content

In this course, the topics of number systems, logic, modular arithmetic, functions and analytic geometry, which are of fundamental importance in the field of informatics, are covered. Students understand the logic of mathematical structures used especially in corporate informatics applications, develop algorithmic thinking skills and learn to use this information in problem solving. The course is supported by practical examples as well as theoretical basis.
