The aim of this course is to enable students to comprehend basic statistical concepts; to provide them with the ability to recognize, summarize and interpret data, and to use statistical thinking in analyzing real-life problems based on numerical data and in decision-making processes.
This course covers basic statistics topics such as classification of data, measures of central tendency and dispersion, graphical data presentation, probability basics, and normal distribution.
