The aim of this course is to teach students the basic components, operating principles, and security measures of computer networks. Students are expected to identify network hardware, perform IP addressing, understand basic routing concepts, and acquire fundamental knowledge and skills in network security.
This course covers fundamental topics such as types of networks, OSI and TCP/IP models, IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and switching. It also includes practical discussions on network protocols, wireless networks, network security, attack types, encryption, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
