Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to introduce the basic types of sensors used in robotic systems and to teach how these sensors work, where and how they are used, in a simple and application-oriented manner.

Course Content

This course aims to teach the basic types of sensors used in robotic systems and their working principles. It covers how sensors that detect environmental factors such as light, temperature, distance, sound, touch, motion, and vision are used in robotic applications. Students will learn how sensors are integrated into robots, where they are used in daily life, and how sensor data is interpreted.
