Objectives of the Course

The place of vegetable seeds in Turkey and in the world, definition of seed and seed, importance of seed production and quality, seed structure, hybrid seeds, calculation of seed amount to be planted, seed physiology, dormancy, vernalization, germination and vigor tests, germination stimulation and stimulants, control and certification of seeds Information on the effects of environmental conditions on seed production, seed harvesting methods, seed yields and growing of seed vegetables are given.

It is aimed to gain theoretical knowledge and experience in greenhouse vegetable and ornamental seeds..
