Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to teach the basic information about geographic information systems, active and passive systems, satellite, aircraft, drone systems and their features, plant detection and mapping studies.

Course Content

Information is given about the definition and history of Remote Sensing, Remote Sensing techniques and basic principles, types of remote sensing according to the energy used, satellite, drone systems and sensors, and plant detection and mapping studies with the help of sensors.
