Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide basic information about remote sensing and robotic systems, active and passive systems, satellite, aircraft, drone systems and their features, robot types - fixed and mobile, power sources and sensors of robots, agricultural robot sensors and plant detection and mapping studies.

Course Content

Information is provided on the definition and history of Remote Sensing, Remote Sensing techniques and basic principles, types of remote sensing according to the energy used, Robotic systems and components, Areas of Use and advantages of Robotic Systems, Structure and general features of robot programming and languages, Robot types - fixed and mobile, power sources and sensors of robots, plant detection and mapping studies with agricultural robot sensors, Phenotyping of plants with computer algorithms and sensor cameras.
