Statistical methods to the problems of agricultural economics; to teach them how to use statistical methods for scientific decision making; and to equip them with the ability to interpret the statistical results.
Basic statistical terms, presentation and summarization of the data, descriptive statistics, probability and probability distributions (binomial, poisson and normal), estimation in statistics, hypothesis testing, count data analysis (Chi square analysis), relationships between the variables (correlation), analysis of variance , LSD test; Rank correlation.
