Objectives of the Course

This course is intended to teach the competencies to make the choice of materials and examination.

Course Content

Definition and classification of materials, the materials used in the technical field, metallic materials, ceramic materials, polymeric materials, composite materials, atomic structure, crystal defects, Alloys, Steels and standard representations.
