Objectives of the Course

Students learn installation of the control components. Furthermore, through this lesson they learn how to start to run or how to change direction of rotation and how to brake single-phase and three-phase asynchronous motors by using electrical control circuit's components.

Course Content

Electrical Control Components, Protection Relays, Runing three-phase asynchronous motors continuously and discontinuously, Runing three-phase asynchronous motors from two different point (remote), Changing direction of rotation of three-phase asynchronous motors, Starting to run three-phase asynchronous motors by using resistors, Starting to run wound-rotor asynchronous motors, Starting to run three-phase asynchronous motors by using reactances or autotransformators, Starting to run as star connected or delta connected and braking, Control of double-cycle motors, Electrical control circuits of single-phase asynchronous motors, Changing direction of rotation of single-phase asynchronous motors, Starting to run DC motors, Changing direction of rotation of DC motors, Braking DC motors
