Objectives of the Course

In this lesson, aimed to identify of events and elements in the field of high voltage, and aimed to show how developed of the basic theories.

Course Content

Basic equations of the static electric field. Electric field and potential in the planar electrode systems. System capacity and strain. Electric field and potential in the orbicular electrode system. The capacity of the system. Investigation the orbicular electrode system in terms of perforation. Electric field and potential in the cylindrical electrode system. Investigation the cylindrical electrode system in terms of perforation. Parallel-axis cylindrical electrode systems. Approximate calculation of the maximum electric field in the electrode systems. The layered electrode systems. Breaking in the boundary surfaces. Smooth forced cable and condenser bushings. Discharge events. Ionization and types - Channel discharge theory. Corona discharge and surface discharges.Lightning discharge. Lightning formation, properties and effects.
