Objectives of the Course

To ensure the correct use of the meanings of metaphors, terms and idioms by distinguishing the vocabulary of the language, the basic and side meanings of the words.

Course Content

The basic principles of editing, how to form a text, the linguistic and content separation of the instructive text and the literary text, the responsibilities of the author and the publisher, and Editor's responsibility and work.

How a text is formed. How to distinguish between instructional text and literary text linguistically and contextually.
Week 2 - Theoretical
Editor's duties and responsibilities How does the editor work?
Week 3 - Theoretical
The points where the responsibilities of the reader and the editor overlap and diverge, The contribution of the proofreader to the editor in the publication process and the duties that leave the editor.

Editorial procedures in terms of the responsibilities of the author until the publication process and the responsibilities of the publisher in this process.

Compliance of the text with the publication policy, the place of the word in the sentence; Checking for missing word or extra word.

The importance of word choice and the necessity of using the appropriate word in the text.
