Objectives of the Course

In this course, transferring the basic electrical and mathematical information required for circuits and systems using alternating current, analysis of series, parallel and mixed connected alternating current circuits, evaluation of power, current, voltage, phase difference relations in alternating current circuits, circuits using resonance properties and compensation It is aimed to introduce the methods and elements.

Course Content

Physical basis of alternating current and mathematical approaches, angular velocity, frequency, inductance, capacitance, reactance, definitions and effects, internal resistance and maximum power transfer theorem, circuit analysis techniques (eye currents, Thévenin/Norton equivalent circuits, source conversion), compensation , Resonance and its effects in RLC circuits, power, current and voltage relations in three-phase circuits.
