To train medical laboratory technicians to work in Governmental and Private Medical Institutions related their own profession.
History
In 2009, some programmes of the Vocational School were located under the name of the Department of Medical Services and Techniques in according to the letter (it’s date: 27. 04. 2009 and number: 1916 - 012232)of The Council of Higher Education. Currently, students are accepted to seven different programs (Anaesthesia, Environmental Health, Dialysis, Emergency and First Aid, Medical Imaging Techniques, Medical Documentation and Secretary, Medical Documentation and Secretary (FEE) and Medical Laboratory Techniques) under this section.
Mission
Our goal is to train healthcare professionals who prioritize human health, adhere to ethical values, stay abreast of scientific and technological advancements, and are capable of responding quickly, accurately, and effectively in emergencies. Our primary goal is to provide qualified first aid and emergency technician candidates with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to meet society's urgent healthcare needs in a modern educational environment.
Vision
To be a nationally and internationally recognized First and Emergency Aid program, preferred in all areas of healthcare, and continuously developing and improving. Our goal is to ensure that our graduates are equipped to perform life-saving interventions, respect human rights and professional ethics, and become leaders in their profession
Purpose
Our mission is to contribute to the maintenance and strengthening of existing health units through training programs designed in accordance with international professional development in the field of health, in line with scientific, technological, and contemporary values, equipped with superior knowledge and skills; capable of providing basic and advanced life support to patients and injured in pre-hospital emergency health services; capable of recognizing all types of trauma systems and performing appropriate emergency interventions; ensuring that patients and injured who have received initial interventions safely reach hospitals by ambulance; and training useful technical personnel for society
Physical Infrastructure
Our Vocational School temporarily operates on the ground floor of the Institutes Building. The Faculty of Science has temporarily allocated 2 laboratories to us. Our courses are carried out in Aydın Menderes Classrooms and Faculty of Medicine Morphology Building.
Technical Infrastructure
Within Aydın Vocational School of Health Services, there are 34 desktop computers, 2 laptop computers, 17 printers, 2 projectors, 1 barcode reader, 1 photocopy machine, 1 scanner, 25 microscopes.
