Objectives of the Course

To have knowledge of legal responsibilities and obligations by comprehending the legal regulations, legislation and patient rights applied in emergency health services.

Course Content

To have knowledge of legal responsibilities and obligations by comprehending the legal regulations, legislation and patient rights applied in emergency health services. Definition and scope of emergencies, legislation on emergency health services in Turkey, patient rights legislation, legal responsibilities of healthcare personnel, medical errors and their legal consequences, legal limits in emergency intervention, patient consent, medical records and confidentiality, judicial case practices, ethical and legal conflicts in emergency health.
