. The aim of this course is to enable students to gain basic knowledge and skills regarding infection control, learn sterilization and disinfection practices, and take the necessary hygienic measures to create a safe working environment in the health
The course will cover topics such as the definition of infection, transmission routes, hospital infections, hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment, sterilization and disinfection techniques, waste management and isolation precautions. It is aimed to transform theoretical knowledge into practice by supporting it with case studies, sample events and application examples.
