The aim of this course is to support students in adapting to university life in a healthy way, to ensure that they benefit from academic counseling services effectively, and to raise awareness of their academic, personal, social and professional development. It is also aimed for students who are new to university to recognize their academic responsibilities and to manage their own learning processes.
Higher education system and university structure, academic advising process and functioning, course registrations and academic calendar, learning strategies, time and stress management, intra-university resources and support services, effective communication, self-awareness and self-management, ethical values, social adaptation, professional orientation and career planning.
