Objectives of the Course

To gain knowledge about the physical therapy and rehabilitation methods that should be applied in pediatric patients.

Course Content

Normal growth and development, examination, reflexes, postural reactions, development of language and speech, rehabilitation of cerebral palsy and other congenital and genetic neuromuscular system diseases in childhood, rehabilitation methods used in pediatric patients neurophysiological and conventional methods, the Bobath method, test positions, reflex inhibitor patterns (RIP), inhibition, facilitation, resynthesis, desynthesis concepts, head control, sitting, four-point stability, balance above the knees, static and dynamic balance when standing, gait training, children orthotics prosthetics, splinting, Vojta and communicative training (Peto) techniques, psychology in pediatric patient
