Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to raise awareness among healthcare professionals about the effective, safe, cost-effective and patient-specific use of drugs; to teach the principles of rational drug use and to provide application skills.

Course Content

1. Explains the basic principles of rational drug use. 2. Discusses the individual and social consequences of inappropriate drug use. 3. Defines the factors to be considered in the prescription process. 4. Analyzes drug interactions and adverse effects. 5. Explains antibiotic resistance and rational antibiotic use. 6. Expresses the role of health professionals in patient education and counseling
