Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to ensure that dialysis students recognize ethical issues they may encounter in the field of health and gain the ability to act in accordance with basic ethical principles and values. It is aimed for students to be aware of their professional responsibilities and to be trained as health professionals who are respectful of patient rights, conscious and ethical.

1.Explains the concepts of ethics, morality and professional ethics.
2.Recognizes and explains basic ethical principles in the field of health.
3.Defines ethical dilemmas that may be encountered during dialysis practices.
4.Knows patient rights and makes patient-centered ethical decisions.
5.Acts in accordance with ethical responsibilities such as confidentiality, privacy and information while providing health services.
6.Applies ethical communication and cooperation principles in teamwork
7.Evaluates own professional boundaries and responsibilities within the ethical framework
