Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to introduce zoonotic diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans, and to teach the biology, transmission routes, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention methods of parasitic, bacterial, and viral agents responsible for these diseases.

Course Content

This course addresses the definition of zoonotic diseases transmitted from animals to humans and their significance in terms of public health. It covers the epidemiology, clinical manifestations, and control strategies of major zoonotic infections, including parasitic, bacterial, and viral zoonoses. The course aims to equip students with fundamental knowledge and approaches for the diagnosis, prevention, and control of zoonotic diseases.
