Objectives of the Course

Giving basic information about the immune system and teaching how to evaluate diseases related to this system with radiological imaging methods.

Course Content

By focusing on the radiological evaluation of immune system diseases such as autoimmune diseases, immune deficiencies and allergic diseases, it ensures that students gain the necessary knowledge and skills in the diagnosis and follow-up of these diseases.

Learning Outcomes
1.To give basic information about the immune system.
2.It involves understanding how the immune system works, which cells and organs are involved in this system, and how this system protects the body.
3.To learn the symptoms, diagnosis methods and treatment options of immune system diseases.
4.To learn how immune system diseases are evaluated with radiological imaging methods.
5.To ensure that radiology technicians understand radiological findings in the diagnosis and follow-up of diseases.
6.To be able to explain the role of computed tomography and nuclear medicine applications in the diagnosis of these diseases.
7.Ability to evaluate these diseases using radiography, ultrasound and MRI methods
