Objectives of the Course

It is to provide students with basic English language skills that will help them communicate at the A2+ level (Basic User) according to the European Union Language Standards.

Course Content

More vocabulary, grammar, and communicative skills to help with communication at an upper-intermediate level; travel, places, physical appearance, health, weather, plans, phone conversations, and cultural phenomena.

Learning Outcomes
1.Students can find the main idea and details by reading various written texts, make inferences based on the information provided in the written texts they read, and deduce the meanings of unfamiliar words from short, familiar contexts.
2.Students can identify the main ideas and details in the texts they listen to, and distinguish pronunciation and grammatical structures through listening.
3.Students can ask and answer questions to start and continue a simple conversation, and make predictions about future events.
4.Students can present their opinions on topics they know, make suggestions, and respond to suggestions.
5.Students can write short, simply structured paragraphs on familiar topics, given commands, or a model, complete dialogues, and provide written answers to relevant questions.
