Objectives of the Course

The main objective of this course is to use historical perspective in economic analysis

Course Content

The birth date and subject of economics, agricultural revolution and its consequences , ancient economy , the Roman Empire. Geographic and social environment of European civilization , early medieval , medieval forward , late medieval , early modern era European economy , changes in economic power . Industrial Revolution , economic changes in the nineteenth century , the spread of industrialization in the nineteenth century , the twentieth century, the world economy : structural changes, the world economy in the twentieth century : wars and economic performance
