The aim of the course is to teach students basic statistical concepts and to help them make more realistic decisions when making decisions about their profession in the working life using statistical methods
Measures of central tendency: Arithmetic mean, median, mode, harmonic mean, geometric mean Measures of dispersion, skewness and kurtosis: Measures of standard deviation, skewness and kurtosis Indices: Simple index, composite index Probability theory: Addition rule, multiplication rule, conditional probability , total probability and Bayes theorem
