Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and ability of foreign trade concept; how foreign trade operations done; foreign trade types, what documents used in foreign trade and how they are prepared; consignee and consigner responsibility in incoterms

Learning Outcomes
1.Being able to define the basic concepts of foreign trade and explain its role within the national and international economic structure
2.Being able to identify export incentives, government supports and control mechanisms, and evaluate their impact on foreign trade.
3.Being able to explain market entry strategies and perform target market analysis.
4.Being able to identify permits, documentation, and customs control procedures related to the import process.
5.Being able to define Incoterms 2020 delivery terms and interpret international delivery responsibilities.
6.Being able to compare the payment methods used in foreign trade and explain their basic steps.
7.Being able to identify documents used in foreign trade (invoice, declaration, waybill, etc.) and explain their functions.
8.Being able to list the operational steps in the export process and analyze methods of reaching customers
9.Being able to explain the effects of free zones, customs unions, and international trade agreements on foreign trade.
