Objectives of the Course

To teach the concepts and processes to understand and manage supply chains, to provide the necessary academic knowledge for supply chain network design and supply chain strategies.

Course Content

This course; Understanding Supply Chain and Decision Stages, Sustainable Supply Chain and Pricing Strategies, Supply Chain Factors and Measurements, Network Design and Demand Forecasting in Global Supply Chain,Design of Distribution Networks and Online Sales Applications, Integrated Planning and Coordination in Supply Chain, Planning Supply and Demand in a Supply Chain as Sales and Production Planning, Economies of Scale Management in Supply Chain: Cycle Stock, Managing Uncertainty in Supply Chain: Safety Stock, Determining the Optimum Level of Product Availability, Transport in Supply Chain, Sourcing Decisions in a Supply Chain, Pricing and Revenue Management in Supply Chain, Supply Chain Information Technology; includes the subjects.

Learning Outcomes
1.Will be able to associate the theoretical knowledge about logistics and supply chain management with real operations
2.Have prior experience of the interrelationships and interactions between the internal and external parties involved in the company's supply chain and the relevant logistics functions.
3.Improve their ability to improve logistics processes, recognize problems or take necessary measures in case of problems
4.In line with the applications, students will have knowledge and experience in key issues such as learning, managing, analyzing, decision making, strategy and system development in a practical way in business structure and main concepts.
5.They will gain experience and knowledge about reporting techniques in all logistics processes and the importance of effective / accurate reporting.
