One of the most important issues in the textile industry is to know the raw materials, yarn and fabric physical properties to be used in production. However, it can be determined whether the raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products to be used in this way will meet the intended requirements, whether the machine settings are done correctly and if there are any errors. The aim of this course is to provide training to the students on the mentioned subjects.
Structural properties of laboratory, laboratory climatic conditions, effects of climatic conditions on textile materials, measurement of conditioning and laboratory conditions, planning and statistical evaluation of experiments, fineness, length, strength, maturity, color, determination of foreign matter ratio in textile fibers, sampling for yarn analysis principles and preparation of test plan, number measurement on tape, rovings and yarns, measurement of twist direction and twist number in yarns, measurement of strength and elongation in yarns, measurement of irregularity and irregularity, detection of sources of error.
