To develop basic knowledge about different types of textile fibers.To develop a basic understanding of the end uses of natural fibers. To develop a basic understanding of the end uses of manmade fibers.To introduce students different types of fabrics made from the same material.
Classifying textile fibers, and evaluate the effect of their physical, mechanical and chemical properties on textile products, suggest proper end uses of the fibers considering their favorable and unfavorable properties
