Objectives of the Course

In this course, students venture, entrepreneur, entrepreneurial concepts, are intended to have the hardware necessary to have knowledge about Turkey and in the world of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial applications.

Course Content

Concepts related to Entrepreneurship; Importance and Development of Entrepreneurship, Characteristics of Entrepreneurs, Responsibilities of Entrepreneurs, Types of Entrepreneurship, Reasons for Becoming an Entrepreneur, Reasons for Success and Failure in Entrepreneurship, Business Establishment Ideas and Alternatives, Financing Needs of Entrepreneurs, Concept of Business Model, Relationship between Entrepreneurship-Innovation-Competition, Raising Awareness of Young Entrepreneurs on Financial-Technical and Project Supports Provided to Entrepreneurs, New Developments in Entrepreneurship in the World and in Turkey.

Learning Outcomes
1.To know the concept of entrepreneurship, the effects of entrepreneurship on economic development, the characteristics of entrepreneurship and the importance of entrepreneurship culture.
2.Understanding the relationships between entrepreneurship and SMEs, KOSGEB supports, and the benefits of Technoparks to entrepreneurs and the national economy
3.Knowing the types of entrepreneurship, success factors in entrepreneurship, its process, and evaluating the importance of the concepts of angel investors-venture capital-entrepreneurship ecosystem.
4.Understanding the basic steps of the business establishment process and business establishment alternatives and knowing the concept of Business Model, its importance and preparation stages.
5.Understanding the financial and technical project support provided by Development Agencies and being able to recognize the institutions with which they can cooperate.
6.Explain the benefits that entrepreneurship will provide to the country's economy in the context of new developments in the world.
