Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to recognize basic anatomical structures on radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance, and angiography images, to improve their knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, and to use radiological anatomy knowledge in professional practice.

Course Content

This course covers anatomical structures in skull and facial, chest and trunk, upper and lower extremity radiographs; anatomical structures on mammographic images; cross-sectional anatomy of the head-neck, trunk, and extremities on computed tomography; cross-sectional anatomy of the head-neck, trunk, and extremities on magnetic resonance imaging; anatomical structures in cerebral, cervical, thoracic, abdominal, upper and lower extremity angiography; as well as anatomical structures seen in radiographs of the digestive, biliary, and urogenital systems.
