Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is for patients who will be treated with surgery or diagnostic procedures; shows basic patient care principles and methods. It is to provide the basis for other lessons by handling the patient with a holistic approach.

Course Content

Patient and employee safety, application of safe surgery checklist, assessment of vital signs, and monitoring of the patient in surgery, surgical hand washing, wearing sterile gowns, etc. basic applications such as.

Learning Outcomes
1.Each student must apply the rules of the operating room
2.Know the function of the materials used in the operating room.
3.Capable of the necessary procedures for the preparation of the surgery patients and employees
4.Postoperative wound closure and implement procedures relating to the cleanliness of the patient.
5.Capable of the necessary procedures for cleaning and disinfection of the operating room after the surgery.
6.To able the surgery patients and employees prepare for the necessary applications
