The aim of this course is for patients who will be treated with surgery or diagnostic procedures; shows basic patient care principles and methods. It is to provide the basis for other lessons by handling the patient with a holistic approach.

| 1. | Understands the principles of surgical asepsis in the operating room setting and correctly performs surgical handwashing and sterile donning techniques. |
| 2. | During surgery, the nurse monitors the patient’s hemodynamic parameters (vital signs) and coordinates with the anesthesia team to ensure continuous monitoring. |
