The aim of this course is to teach general characteristics of microorganisms and to learn about the properties of pathogenic microorganisms.
Students will have knowledge about general characteristics of microorganisms, genetic structure, metabolic properties, viruses, bacteria, fungi, immune system, differential diagnosis of microorganisms, methods used in microbiology.
