Objectives of the Course

In this lesson, it is aimed to enable students to evaluate the relationship between nature and human in terms of environmental ethics and to equip them intellectually, to comment and to question the relationship between ethics and other fields. At the same time, it is aimed to provide information on how we can reduce the environmental effects of microplastics, which are extremely harmful to nature, and how we can reduce the effects of carbon footprint.

Course Content

To know the environmental effects of microplastics, to know what needs to be done to be protected from these effects, to learn what needs to be done to reduce the carbon footprint. In general, environmental ethics is the systematic study of moral relations between people and the natural environment. It constitutes the basis of a life ethic in which all beings that make up the ecosystem can exist in harmony and cooperation. Within the scope of this course, the ability to evaluate the relationship between nature and human in terms of environmental ethics and the relationship of ethics with other fields will be discussed.
