Objectives of the Course

It is aimed to provide information about the factors of infectious diseases, their transmission routes, the general course of diseases, their diagnosis and ways of protection, and to take precautions against risky situations.

Infetious diseases epidemiology and general epidemiological principles in infectious diseases, Causes of infectious diseases, Microorganisms and virulence factors, Host defense mechanisms, Cope with communicable diseases, Cross infection and cross infection prevention, Medical personel and handwashing, Upper respiratory tract infectious, Pneumonias, Acute diarrhoea, Urinary tract infections, Group A beta-haemolytic , treptococci (GABHS) infections, Pulmonary(lung) ve extrapulmonary tuberculosis, Viral hepatitis, Sexually transmitted diseases, Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and protection, Blood and infectious complications of blood transfusion, Blood-borne infection and medical personnel
