Objectives of the Course

The main objective of this course is to deal with the changes that occur in working life today, both at the micro-business level and from the macro perspective at the national and global level. Today's developments will be evaluated by taking into account their historical roots.

Course Content

Work and study will be covered in this course. For this, the foundations of capitalism, enlightenment and industrial revolution will be discussed. then a brief history of social theory and study; Then, the developments in the 20th century will be covered. Then, some themes in working life (such as discrimination and control) will be discussed and the lesson will be concluded with the situation in the 21st century.
