Objectives of the Course

In the process of globalization, financial markets in the world are becoming more important day by day. Many financial instruments are traded in these markets. The aim of this course is to teach the methods of scientific analysis methods that students use to invest in these instruments and to help them acquire have a rational investor mentality.

Course Content

Financial Markets, Capital Markets, Stock Markets, Derivative Markets, Stock Exchange Commission, Istanbul Stock Exchange, VOB, Securities Concept, Portfolio Definition, Traditional Portfolio Theory and Modern Portfolio Theory. Effective Markets Theory, Introduction to Markowitz portfolio theory, Measurement of Portfolio Return and Risk and Creation of the Effective Limit. Introduction to the Pricing Model of Capital Assets (SVFM), Arbitrage Pricing Model, Evaluation of Portfolio Performance, Active - Passive Portfolio Management and International Diversification.
