The Home Patient Care Program has started associate degree education with a capacity of 40 students since the 2021-2022 academic year. Students who graduate from the Home Patient Care program will receive the "Home Patient Care Technician" title. Graduates of the program are carried out in Social Services and Child Protection Agency, Municipalities, Hospitals, Non-Governmental Organizations, and Private Institutions where patient care services are carried out; nursing homes, elderly nursing homes, homes for the weak, day centers for the elderly, applications for the patient in health units, home care services, arranging the patient's home, sheltered housing, etc. They can work under the supervision of experts.

With the meeting of the Higher Education Executive Board held on 13/02/2013, the program was opened in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of the Law No. 2547 amended with the Law No. 2880. At the Higher Education General Assembly meeting dated 28.04.2021, the Law No. In accordance with the different 7/d-2 and 7/h articles, it was deemed appropriate to accept students with 40 (Forty) quotas.

Based on the principles of our university, on the axis of continuous change and development brought about by the information society, with the knowledge, skills, and responsibility awareness required by the Home Patient Care program, to ensure that qualified individuals who closely follow scientific developments are innovative, prone to teamwork in the protection and promotion of health, and who can perform home patient care practices are brought into business life.

To be an education, training, and research institution that is preferred in the health sector in the training of Home Patient Care technicians, in the production and use of knowledge and skills, creates awareness in cooperation with stakeholders, contributes to science and social development, assumes and maintains a leading role in the field at national and international level in education and training quality.

Program Educational Objectives: 1. Our graduates plan health and care services at home and apply basic care skills safely and effectively. 2. Our graduates provide holistic care to patients and their families, manage the care process, and work to improve quality of life. 3. Our graduates act professionally in communication and care processes within the framework of ethical values and patient rights. 4. Our graduates follow current national and international developments in health and provide safe and effective home care services based on evidence. 5. Our graduates work in collaboration with the health care team, act in accordance with occupational health and safety, environmental protection and sustainability principles, and maintain their professional development.

Education and training are provided in a vocational school building that includes 7 classrooms, 1 vocational laboratory, 1 library, 1 conference hall, 1 meeting room, and 1 cafeteria.

The educational activities of the program are supported by uninterrupted wireless internet access across the campus through the university’s eduroam infrastructure. Students can access numerous national and international databases via the Aydın Adnan Menderes University Central Library and electronic library. There are 2 vocational skills laboratories and 1 simulation/virtual reality laboratory in our vocational school.
