Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to teach fundamental rehabilitation approaches aimed at preserving and improving the physical functions of individuals receiving home care services; and to enable them to develop a holistic approach in the care process by introducing rehabilitation practices that support the individual's social adaptation.

Course Content

The concept and basic principles of rehabilitation, the importance of rehabilitation in home care services, physical rehabilitation approaches, mobilization and exercise applications, supporting daily living activities, safe movement in the home environment, fall prevention, the concept of social rehabilitation, psychosocial support, the role of family and caregivers in the rehabilitation process, rehabilitation approaches in chronic disease and old age, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
