Objectives of the Course

It is aimed to learn infection formation, symptoms and types, hospital infections and prevention methods, sterilization, disinfection, personal protection and isolation methods.

Introduction to the course, Classification of microorganisms, characteristics of bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, Infection formation, infection chain, spread of infection to the body, Symptoms of infection, Reporting and isolation of infectious diseases, Immunity and vaccination, Respiratory transmitted infections and care, Digestive system transmitted infection diseases and care, Infectious diseases transmitted through skin and mucosa and care, Social infectious infectious diseases and care, Hospital Infections, Prevention and Control Methods of Hospital Infections, Isolation methods in infectious diseases.
