Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to give information about media literacy curricula, to consume the history of media literacy in the world and for everyone, to consume the trends and theories that have emerged for this purpose.

Course Content

This course includes the concept of Media Literacy, the emergence and importance of Media Literacy, the basic principles of Media Literacy, the basic principles of media literacy, the theories of Media Literacy, the protectionist and inoculation approach, the applications of media literacy in the world, the media literacy education in Turkey.
