Objectives of the Course

To teach classification of plant pathogenic bacteria, symptoms caused by bacteria in the plants , the disease-causing factors, ways to transport and spread of bacteria, control methods against important bacterial plant diseases

1.To be able to distinguish bacteria them from other groups of microorganism
2.To be able to learn ways to spread plant pathogenic bacteria
3.To be able to learn symptoms, disease cycles and epidemiology of phytopathogen bacteria
4.To identify the bacteria that cause disease in plants and to learn the control methods.
5.To be able to learn control methods of phytopathogen bacteria
