Physiological events in plant production and transport of water from soil to plants, transport of nutrients from soil and leaves to root and stem, osmosis and diffusion events, metabolic processes such as photosynthesis and respiration are explained with physical and chemical principles.
Basic terms and concepts, Cell growth and differentiation, Mechanism of plant growth regulators, biological effects and chemistry, Seed germination and seedling growth control with plant growth regulators.
