Scope of economics, three principles of economics - optimization, balance, empiricism -, alternative cost, budget constraint, economic methods and economic problems, modeling, causality and correlation difference, demand, supply and equilibrium, market and market types, buyer and seller behavior, On supply and demand curves, Supply and demand balance, supply and demand surpluses, shifts in competitive balance and State interventions, Consumers and motives, prices, budgets and tastes and preferences, consumer surplus, demand elasticities, Sellers and motives, production of goods, doing business cost, rewards of doing business, producer surplus and price elasticity of supply, Trade, production possibilities curve, absolute and comparative advantage, winners and losers in trade, justifications for arguments against free trade, Externalities, public goods and common goods. State in Economics: Taxation and regulation.
